The Canticle of Creation Center (CoCC), a pilot project of the Dubuque Franciscan Sisters, is hosting an event at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, in honor of the Season of Creation.
From September 1, the Day of Prayer for Creation, to October 4, the Feast of St. Francis (patron of ecology), Christians around the world unite to pray and care for creation. It’s the “Season of Creation,” and it’s happening from Paris to Pittsburgh, Pretoria to La Paz to Dubuque! The theme of this year’s celebration is “walking together.” As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are on a pilgrimage to better care of creation. Come join us in prayer and action to protect creation on Tuesday, September 25, at 6:30 p.m. Free will offering.
