On Monday, November 22, 12 Dubuque Franciscan Sisters visited with the real-world communications class at Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque to share about their lives and ministries.

“This exercise in communication and listening allowed our students to encounter a stranger and ask probing questions about their life, values, joys, and sacrifices. The result was a fun and meaningful conversation about religious vocations, faith, and finding purpose in our lives,” said Holy Family Catholic Schools on their Facebook page about the experience. “In the spirit of thanksgiving, we are so grateful to have these women as role models and supporters of our schools. We are also thankful for the prayers they promised to provide our young people as they continue their faith journeys!”
