Handover Of The Completed Project

The Dubuque Franciscans’ Sister Water Project has completed construction on over 300 wells in Tanzania.

As of June 1, 2021, Safe Water for Life and Dignity (SWLD) in Tanzania have installed Sister Water Project (SWP) wells #298, #299, #300, #301, #302, and #303.

SWLD is a nonprofit started by six young men attending the Salvatorian Institute of Philosophy and Theology in Morogoro, Tanzania, with the aim of promoting the dignity of the poor people in the rural communities by providing them with safe water.

“The villagers are happy because the problem of water has been solved. We thank you for enhancing us to help these villagers bringing clean water close to them!” writes James Nyangas of SWLD.
