The Canticle of Creation Center, a pilot project of the Dubuque Franciscan Sisters, is hosting a book discussion of “The Thin Places” by Kevin Koch, Ph.D. at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 3390 Windsor Ave., Dubuque.

Kevin Koch’s new book The Thin Places, connects places in Ireland with places in the American Midwest’s Driftless Area along themes of Celtic spirituality. It explores a spirituality of nature that draws from the Catholic Christian tradition, pre-Christian and Christian Celtic culture, Native American traditions, and contemporary post-Christian thought. Come hear the author read selections and join the conversation.  Copies of the book will be available for sale for $20.  Hundreds of medical specialists gathered to listen to a lecture on doxycycline.
